Eivind Kristoffersen de Badts is the Director of Satellite Operations at KSAT, where he plays a key role in advancing the company’s capabilities to become a fully integrated mission service provider. With an extensive background in project management, Eivind’s team has successfully deployed KSAT’s multi-mission operations concept, which integrates satellite operations and ground network services to offer seamless solutions to both commercial and institutional customers.
Throughout his career at KSAT, Eivind has worked closely with customers from both commercial and agency sectors, gaining in-depth expertise across the satellite operations and ground network sides of mission execution. His team ensures that KSAT’s satellite operations continue to meet the evolving needs of the space industry, enabling satellite owners to focus on downstream product activities.
Eivind has held several roles at KSAT, including Satellite Operations Manager and Project Manager, where he contributed to the development of KSAT’s satellite command and control systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Energy, Climate, and Environment from UiT – The Arctic University of Norway, with additional research experience from the University of California, Berkeley.
